Before hand size bars, Household Soap was sold in 1lb & 2lb blocks. This is as traditional as it gets. This soap has a multitude of uses, and is very economical. Contains Carbolic Acid. Due to variations in the soap base, and the time of year produced this soap will have a slightly different colour, ranging from brick red to angry red. This is the dye, not the Carbolic Acid and in no way affects the soap’s quality.
