Only the finest materials go into the manufacture of Bostik Fire Cement (formerly Cementone Fire Cement). It is a ready-mixed asbestos-free blend of mineral fillers and thermosetting resins, which dries cement-like when exposed to heat, and is designed for domestic use. Bostik Fire Cement has been tested to 1400°C and adheres well to brickwork and clayware.
Bostik Fire Cement can be used to repair a wide range of applications where heat resistance is required, such as firebacks, solid fuel heaters, boilers, and other surfaces without metal or plastic.
